The Butchart Gardens is in Brentwood Bay, British Columbia, Canada, near Victoria on Vancouver Island. The gardens get a million visitors each year and have around 80 Master gardeners! This used to be a limestone quarry, but in the early 1900’s the Butchart family transformed it into what is now a national historic site and a tourist attraction well worth making the trip for.
One of my personal faves!
The Gardens has many picturesque sections and walkways.
The colors and diversity are outstanding, but the unusual greenery shouldn’t be left out.
I’m not sure who those people are but they’re just some of many that take a seat, relax, and enjoy the serenity and colors.
